TRON IS GETTING A SEQUEL
Tron is getting a sequelTron, the cult sci-fi flick that introduced the world to computer graphics, is getting a sequel ! And a million geeks all rejoice ! The man behind the camera is relatively unknown director Joseph Kosinski, The original Tron was about a programmer who was trapped in a computer and forced to play extremely basic arcade games with a glowing frisbee. Little is known about the sequel, but there are rumours that the villain of the film will be a satanic windows-based operating system that refuses to transfer your music files from iTunes no matter how hard you try. Don’t worry, we are joking.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL AND TOBEY MAGUIRE PLAY BROTHERS
Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire play brothersJake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire are teaming up to play brothers in Brothers for Relativity Media. A film by Jim Sheridan, it is about a pair of brothers (surprise, surprise) separated by the war in Afghanistan. Maguire goes off to fight while Gyllenhaal is left to look after his wife and kid. It's a remake of a Danish language war movie from 2004. It'll be interesting to see former Spider-Man Tobey Maguire squaring off against Gyllenhaal, the man who was widely tipped to replace him in the series when he injured his back prior to the third movie.

TOBEY MAGUIRE BRINGING ROBOTECH TO THE BIG SCREEN
Tobey Maguire bringing Robotech to the big screenSpeaking of Tobey Maguire once again, he is set to produce and possibly star in an up-coming sci-fi adventure Robotech. Warner Bros have just bought the rights to this classic 80s anime, featuring giant robots ships used to protect the Earth from alien invasion. Success depends on two young pilots who face a race of giant ET warriors aiming to steal an energy source known as "protoculture".
"We are very excited to bring Robotech to the big screen," says Maguire. "There is a rich mythology that will be a great foundation for a sophisticated, smart and entertaining film."
